Network Supplier Access Request
To create/remove or make any changes in any existing supplier/user firewall access you have two options:
OPTION 1 – ServiceNow ticket
This option is for complex changes that require support from our Global Supplier Connectivity Team, or for Emergency ones. Also, for changes which involve DPAP (Dangerous Ports or Protocols) and GCP, PCF, IERP or Client-Based Connection accesses.
Important Reminders:
- Connections must be properly documented in the relevant applications diagrams (i.e., keeping the CBID/Tech07 accurate)
-
ECS review is successfully completed. ECS review can be requested from: go.ford/ecsrequest
Note: An ECS review is no longer required for VDI requests with no DPAPs, or if request relates to Zscaler or GP access. However, in these cases, the submitter must be an authorized member of the APM owning the resources to be accessed (same as FSS) - If the firewall access includes DPAPS (Dangerous Ports and Protocols), approval is required from the relevant LL5+ application IT data owner confirming the adequate compensation controls are in place
If all of this is already done, then you can raise a ticket as follows:
- Go here: Employee Center Homepage - Employee Center
- Search by "supplier"
- Select Network Supplier Access
OPTION 2 - FSS (Firewall Self-Service) ticket
This option is for simple changes in scenarios not included in OPTION 1.
Important Reminders:
- Accuracy of the information submitted is the responsibility of the requestor. You must verify your own requests
- Connections must be properly documented in the relevant applications diagrams (i.e., keeping the CBID/Tech07 accurate)
- If your change does not work as expected, then you are responsible for resolving this issue. Please see the FAQs for more information
- To submit a Firewall Self-Service request, the requester must be an authorized Contact for the APM owning the resources to be accessed
You can raise an FSS ticket from: go.ford/fss
